From the Trades
to the Frontlines
LocPro Construction Inc. was built on a lifetime of experience in construction, trades, and a deep respect for the people who work on the front lines of wildfire response.
Founder Vic was born and raised in Alberta, where construction, trades, and firefighting were part of everyday life. Many of his grandparents and relatives worked in firefighting and skilled trades, instilling in him a strong work ethic and a respect for the people who protect communities and build the infrastructure that supports them.
Vic went on to build his own career in construction, spending the past 27 years working across a range of industries including industrial construction, fabrication, and trucking. Over nearly three decades in the field, he developed the hands-on experience and problem-solving mindset that comes from working in demanding environments where reliability and hard work matter.
In 2016, Vic and his family experienced the devastating impact of the Fort McMurray Wildfire. Living through that event left a lasting impression — seeing firsthand how wildfires affect communities, families, and workers strengthened his desire to be more directly involved in wildfire prevention and suppression efforts.
In 2021, Vic and his family relocated to British Columbia, where he began developing a new direction for his company. LocPro Construction Inc. expanded its focus to support wildfire response and prevention while continuing to provide reliable industrial construction, fabrication, and trucking services.
For Vic, this work is more than business — it’s about contributing to the safety of communities, supporting those on the front lines, and helping protect the forests and landscapes that people call home.

Certificate of Recognition (COR)
COR Certification is a nationally recognized occupational health and safety certification. It confirms that LocPro has implemented a comprehensive safety management system meeting provincial standards.
Qualified Team & Medical Staff
Our team includes trained medical personnel and professionals with extensive field experience. We hold current safety training, hazardous materials handling credentials and site readiness qualifications.
Fully Insured Operations
