Will this work help with my insurance?
Many insurers are increasingly interested in documented wildfire mitigation work, particularly in high-risk areas. We provide post-work documentation that can be shared with your insurer. We recommend consulting your insurer directly about their specific requirements.
Do you work with BC Wildfire Service?
Yes. LocPro is BC SAFE Forest Certified and equipped to support BC Wildfire Service operations with water transportation, construction support and MTC units. Hourly rates for BC WS work are set by the BC Wildfire Service and BC Construction Agency.
WHAT DOES WILDFIRE PREVENTION INVOLVE?
Wildfire prevention services typically include vegetation and fuel management around structures, FireSmart property assessments, access route preparation, and support for water delivery systems. We tailor our approach to your specific property and risk level.
How much do your services cost?
Most projects are custom-quoted based on property size, terrain and wildfire risk level. Hourly rates are set by BC Wildfire Service and the BC Construction Agency where applicable. Contact us for a free quote and site assessment.
How long does a project take?
Project timelines depend on scope and site conditions. We’ll provide a clear timeline estimate as part of your free quote. We recommend booking early in the season before demand peaks.
Are you available during wildfire season?
We prioritize availability for BC Wildfire Service and emergency response. For private property work, we strongly encourage early-season bookings. Contact us today for a free assessment.
Are you insured and properly certified?
Yes. LocPro Construction is BC SAFE Forest Certified and COR Certified. We maintain all required insurance, safety training and industry compliance standards for construction and forestry operations in British Columbia.
Can you fabricate custom equipment?
Yes. Our in-house fabrication and welding shop is CNC-equipped and we have access to engineers for custom projects. We can design and fabricate specialized equipment to meet your operational requirements.
